Body Talk: Teens Talk About Their Bodies, Eating Disorders and Activism.
Produced by The Body Positive, 1999, Berkeley, CA.
Body Talk is an award winning 28 minute video on body acceptance issues for 12 to 18 year-old girls and boys. This documentary focuses on girls and boys with diverse body sizes and ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds.
They discuss the messages they receive from media, family and friends about their bodies and eating patterns, and their resulting struggles. They talk about how they resist and change, and how they heal.
